Growing up I never really took many vacations with my family. There are many reason not a lot of South Asian families take vacations.
My husband Bobby however has travelled a lot more as a child and as a adult than I have. When we got married, I got to travel by air for a vacation for the first time. We spent 3 days in Las Vegas and I loved every moment of it. I am not a drinker or a gambler but there’s so much more to do in Vegas than just that. We discussed making travel a bigger part of our lives but day to day life just got in the way as it does for so many of us.
Then some big events happened in our lives and the pandemic hit. It put things in perspective. If not now then when? We are parents to two sweet little boys now, Arjun and Veer, and we want to make travelling a priority as they grow up. I set up the Jet Set Kids to document our trips, memories and to share helpful tips, tricks, products to make travelling with kids just a bit easier.
